The Forest of Anaroth
The Forest of Tyr as the people of Nen’Gorath are concerned is an evil place. The forest is unable to be tamed. No matter the progress they make to uproot and cut away at it it just regrows within a matter of weeks. All progress is undone and must be reworked. To some this just means an endless supply of wood. But to those who work the forest it is a nightmare. Also to the various dangers of logging the forest, there are creatures within the forest that don’t want them there.
Many lives dedicated to the foresting industry have been lost due to mysterious disappearance. The people can only blame the Forest of Tyr for their deaths. However, the Forest of Tyr is not exactly as it appears. In fact, the Forest of Tyr is not even what it is named. For the Forest of Tyr is in fact The Forest of Anaroth.
Deep into the heart of the Forest of Anaroth lies the ancient and powerful metropolis Nalthwâin Anaroth, or Forest Tower. It is an ancient city of High Elves. Their presence has gone unnoticed by the Hume country of Azemora for many millenniums. It is due in part to the powers of the Great Tree. As well as the powers of the Water Weird that resides there. To anyone who has not been there themselves will only hear the wind in place of the city’s name.
